About the role

You will be working closely with the Operations Coordinator and the North Coast team to coordinate a number of support services for the business:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Port Macquarie office including facilities and office management (travel bookings, catering, reception, uniforms) to ensure the seamless delivery of support services.
  • Provide administrative support in Assets, Records, Contract and Fleet Management to optimise business outcomes.
  • Supporting new starters induction to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Provide advice and contribute to business, workforce and administrative functions including identifying opportunities to improve processes and propose solutions.
  • Be the first point of contact for both internal and external clients and provide a great customer experience.

Note: While we work flexibly, due to the nature of this role there will be an expectation that you will be in the office at least 3 days a week.

About You

Key knowledge and experience

  • Strong customer focus with proven engagement and collaboration skills
  • A demonstrated ability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers, staff and a range of stakeholders
  • Proven experience providing project coordination including taking minutes, and coordinating meetings, liaise with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in shared services environment and learn systems quickly
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), experience working in Power Apps would be advantageous
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve, find information and resolve issues
  • Demonstrated ability to be efficient, plan and prioritise to achieve set objectives with the resources available and within strict deadlines.
