You will work as part of the Infrastructure Investment & Business Excellence (IIBE) team across the breadth of NSW Department of Primary Industries. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Laboratory Customer Service Technical Assistant as the first point of contact for customers of the Wagga Wagga AgEnviro Labs Feed Quality Service (FQS) and Oil Testing Service (OTS). Note: customer interaction is primarily via phone and email and this is largely an administrative/ office based role.
Our ideal candidate will assist in providing quality customer service and be capable of managing multiple tasks effectively and efficiently to meet required laboratory time frames. They will also be able to display a positive image while meeting customer service standards in a demanding and varied environment.
You will love to work independently, as well as in a team environment and have a “can-do” attitude combined with the ability to take and follow instructions & standard operating procedures. Your excellent communication skills, enthusiasm to develop new skills, learn about laboratory tests and think laterally will be your greatest assets.
