Western Local Land Services is looking for a proven people leader to:

  • Manage and lead a geographically dispersed group made up of the Communities team and Aboriginal Cultural Heritage “Pathways to Country” team
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and reporting of priority NRM based cultural and community projects and programs
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, coordinating and influencing them to work together to deliver a variety of outcomes
  • Be a member of the leadership team and contribute to the development and implementation of operational and strategic plans


The Western LLS region is the largest in NSW, covering 314,500 km² or 40 percent of the state. Check out this video for information on the services we provide.

This is a great role to sink your teeth into. To be successful you need to be someone who has proven relevant project management experience and who can successfully lead a team to deliver high-quality NRM-based cultural and community projects and programs across a geographically dispersed region.

The balance between leading, supporting, and guiding people and delivering high-quality results is critical to this role – so you’ll need to be adept at bringing both together to be able to successfully deliver outcomes suitable for all.
