Exciting opportunity to join the Hunter Local Land services to lead the delivery of community engagement initiatives.

• Full time fixed term opportunity to 30 June 2023
• Salary - $110,077 pa plus superannuation and leave loading
• Flexible location within the Hunter region

About Local Land Services

Local Land Services (LLS) delivers quality, customer-focused services to landholders and the community across New South Wales. The organisation brings together the agricultural advice, biosecurity, natural resource management, Aboriginal community partnerships, emergency services and Soil Conservation Service functions. LLS have around 950 staff across NSW with a budget of approximately $225 million.


About the role
The Team Leader Community Engagement leads a team of passionate individuals working to support Hunter LLS to deliver program outcomes and work towards our vision of healthy and productive landscapes in the Hunter LLS region.

The role will lead the team to support the development and implementation of community engagement, education and extension projects and activities across the region’s Healthy Landscapes and Agricultural Production and Protection programs.


Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role you must have a degree in social science or equivalent knowledge and extensive experience in managing teams, delivering high quality, innovative community engagement activities, and a passion for customer service.
