Western Local Land Services (LLS) is looking for a business development team lead to:

  • Oversee the implementation of the Western LLS local strategic plan and review and renewal of its associated strategies.
  • Identify strategic priorities and enlist and engage the support of staff and stakeholders, business-wide, to deliver outcomes
  • Proactively look for and develop new business opportunities across the region, including scoping, developing, and resourcing.
  • Oversee and drive all new and existing strategic business projects and programs.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to provide direction, advice, planning, and support in the delivery of strategic business outcomes.

Whilst a technical understanding of NRM or agriculture would be ideal it’s not essential for the role. What is, however, is proven experience in strategic business development and project management as well as demonstrated engagement and stakeholder management experience.

You’ll be a big picture thinker – someone who can see and understand business opportunities and be able to scope their viability and feasibility to deliver high-quality business outcomes across a geographically dispersed region.  

You’ll also be someone who can drive change, get results and bring staff and stakeholders along with you for the ride.

Your outstanding communication, networking, negotiation, and collaboration skills will also be critical to the success of this role.
