Public Works (PW) is a division of the Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW). PWA provides a broad range of infrastructure advisory, procurement, project management and engineering services across NSW, assisting local and state government clients to plan, develop, deliver, manage, operate and maintain critical infrastructure.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team which takes pride in the benefits our expertise ultimately delivers for the people and economy of NSW.
The role is based in PWA’s South Coast Region which has offices in various locations on the South Coast and in Western NSW. Sitting within our Public Works Advisory Surveying unit, you will provide survey services tailored to NSW government asset and infrastructure projects. Our most notable, current projects include water supply and sewerage infrastructure upgrades, regional precise dam monitoring surveys, land acquisition surveys for government projects, state emergency flood surveys and regional levee system surveys.

In exchange for your experience, we can offer you a professional environment, working with a team of Registered and Technical Surveyors, Spatial and Property professionals. You will be exposed to the latest survey technology including GNSS, handheld/terrestrial laser scanners, Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) and drone-based LIDAR technology. There will also be unique opportunities to give back to local and regional communities while contributing to critical government infrastructure projects.
