Senior Social Media and Digital Advisor

Competitive salary with flexible working arrangements. Working within the Office of the Secretary, Media, Communications and Engagement team. Based in Queanbeyan, Dubbo, Coffs Harbour, Armidale, or other regional NSW locations (preferred); metropolitan locations may also be considered.

About the role

The Department of Regional NSW is recruiting multiple Senior Social Media and Advisor roles to join the Regional and Media Communication branch of the Office of the Secretary. Working closely with the Digital and Design Manager, we are looking for a Senior Social Media and Digital Advisors who is highly motivated, passionate about social media, digital, branding and delivering quality content.

What will you be doing? 

We are looking for someone to utilise their inner creativity and expertise, to effortlessly create social media campaigns leading to high engagement across all platforms and to showcase why regional NSW is an even better place to live, work, play and invest.

• Developing and executing an effective social media and digital campaign strategy to achieve set KPIs
• Manage and work with the content producer to create compelling content and visual campaigns using social media and digital channels
• Execute all digital and design activities for campaigns including social media, website and design elements
• Create compelling content and visual campaigns using social media channels
• Community management - Responding to DM’s in a timely manner, responding to comments and engaging with tagged content
• Providing weekly/monthly reports on platform analytics and engagement rates
• Keeping up to date with all enhancements and innovations on social channels and making recommendations.
• Oversee and brief in social media content creations – images, graphics etc.
• Social Media Campaign management and maintenance
• Produce marketing collateral presentations and source merchandise
• Creating content for both print and digital assets
• Be a part of marketing “brainstorming” with the wider team
