The Royalties for Rejuvenation and Diversification Team within Regional Programs is employing for multiple positions.
We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who will apply their knowledge and skills to deliver programs that will support coal mining affected communities now and into the future and support the delivery of diversification activity across regional NSW.
To be eligible, you must be a motivated and self-driven individual with an ability to travel when required to for the role. Preference will be given to candidates who live in one of the affected coal mining regions of North-West NSW, Central-West NSW, Hunter or the Illawarra Region.
The Regional Programs branch is part of the Regional Development and Programs division in the Department of Regional NSW.
Our branch delivers a range of initiatives to promote economic growth and enhance community wellbeing across regional NSW by helping drive employment, improve local amenity, deliver positive outcomes for young people and respond to the emerging needs of regional communities.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have strong administration and stakeholder engagement experience and be comfortable working in a versatile and fasted paced working environment. Candidates should also have strong policy experience and be comfortable working across government to coordinate diversification activities, including the work of the Regional Economic Steering Committee.
