About the Role

This senior role is located in the small and high performing Risk, Policy and Governance team. The role is critically essential to the day-to-day operation of the Rural Assistance Authority (RAA) by providing policy support, including developing guidelines for programs of assistance, and undertaking program evaluations.

The role is also a key position in the delivery of strategic improvement projects to develop and review policy, program evaluation and the RAAs legislative and governance framework.

You’ll be required to provide strategic policy and legislative advice and undertake complex research and analysis in collaboration with other business units and external stakeholders.

 

About you

To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator and collaborator and have a broad understanding of primary industry issues, particularly agribusiness and rural finance, and the relevant policy and legislative framework.

You will also have the ability to understand and interpret a wide variety of legislation and have expertise in program evaluation and policy development, implementation and review.
