What you will be doing?
The Food Incident Response & Complaints team plays a critical role in responding to and addressing food safety risk and compliance in NSW. As a Food Incident Response & Complaints Officer, you will be part of the Compliance & Integrity Systems team within the Biosecurity & Food Safety Branch of NSW DPI. DPI Biosecurity & Food Safety is responsible for regulating and monitoring food safety and biosecurity across NSW.
In this role, you will be assisting and undertaking compliance inspections and investigations of NSW based food businesses to address food safety risks and maximise compliance in respect to food safety and legislation. The role is varied, with a focus on responding to and investigating potential food safety risks.
