About our team
The Regional Recovery Branch ensures sector excellence and leadership in the design and delivery of programs to support social, economic and primary industry outcomes for regional NSW, and enabling people, businesses and communities to recover from disasters including flood, bushfire, COVID-19 and drought.
We play a crucial leadership and community-facing role that supports improved outcomes in economic and industry development and community wellbeing for regional NSW. Our programs and staff are focused on growing regional economies, communities and youth and improving quality of life for regional communities.
The Industry Recovery team leads the design, collaboration and delivery of large, medium to long term primary industry recovery and resilience programs and communicates outcomes to its stakeholders.

The Opportunity
As a Project Officer in Regional Recovery, you will be instrumental in the provision of project management support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of projects in line with established objectives for primary producers and supply chain industries impacted by disasters across NSW.

About You
You have a keen interest and extensive knowledge of primary issues affecting rural and regional NSW communities. You welcome the challenge of managing a diverse range of stakeholders and negotiating through differing expectations, viewpoints and interests to achieve outcomes.
You will have extensive experience in formulating and completing analysis providing adequate information and driving effective evident-based policy design.
The role will draw upon your ability to deliver project outcomes and think outside the square in order to achieve results when working to tight deadlines, with limited resources and often while managing competing priorities.
Essential requirements
Current Drivers Licence and willingness to travel.
