  • Salary starting from $99,431 pa+ super

Western Local Land Services (LLS) are looking for an innovative, process driven team player to join them as their Project Coordinator.

What makes this role so great?
Part of the Business Services team, the Project Coordinator will be working with all team members in some respect. In your immediate team there is (Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Improvement (MERI), Geographic Information Services (GIS), Contracts, Financial Management, Customer Services and Administration. You will also be working with the larger Western LLS team to develop, review and implement projects. These teams include Natural Resource Management, Agriculture, Emergency Management and Biosecurity related projects and generally require landholder, contractor or stakeholder engagement and negotiation.

You’ll be responsible for a variety of key deliverables including:

  • Assisting in the development of grant/project applications and plans.
  • Assisting in project management, monitoring and reporting.
  • Reviewing and reporting on the implementation of strategic plans and projects.
  • Reviewing and improving our Project-related processes and documentation.
  • Coordinating, communicating with and training staff to implement new project processes.
  • Ensuring the appropriate filing of documents/evidence on completion of projects.
  • Implementing a feedback loop on project management and outcomes.

What do you need to be successful?
As you can see this is a role you can really sink your teeth into and is best suited to someone who really values attention to detail, is dynamic, and is a self-starter.

To be successful you’ll need to be a great communicator and an excellent time manager with excellent written and verbal presentation skills. You’ll have the ability to understand and explain complex processes combined with the ability to understand and comply with budgets. You’ll also be very good with most computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word and if you know GIS and Power Apps even better!

An understanding of NSW government procurement requirements, as well as an understanding of the LLS Act and Biosecurity Act would be an advantage.
