About the Role

The Project & Policy Officer will contribute to the management and implementation of a range of knowledge management, business analysis, performance measurement and reporting projects for the Regional Development Branch in the North Coast.

Key responsibilities for the Project & Policy Officer role include, but not limited to:

  • Contribute to projects and processes to monitor operational performance to meet the strategic needs of the North Coast team
  • Coordinate consultative processes to capture, analyse and report performance
  • Manage specific systems and process activities
  • Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues
  • Provide timely advice to internal stakeholders on planning, performance monitoring, business analysis and system improvement
  • Actively contribute to the team's objectives and identified outcomes

The reporting line for Project & Policy Officer role can vary between teams.

About You

You are a result driven team player seeking a project-based role. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to support the Project Team in driving the projects agenda and maintain effective working relationships with a range of business clients and government stakeholders.

Essential requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.

A talent pool may be created from this recruitment action for ongoing and temporary roles of the same standard that may become available for filling over the next eighteen months. The successful applicant in this role may be required to undergo a police check, health assessment and other assessments as required.

All Department of Regional NSW employees are required: 

    • To be fully vaccinated of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine by 30 January 2022 and; or 
    • An approved medical contraindication.
