Opportunity to work within a highly motivated and enthusiastic team delivering front line services to land managers in the Southern Highlands and Tablelands of NSW.  Core functions of this role include delivering funding to land managers, contract development, monitoring, reporting and contractor management.

 

  • Multiple full time and part times roles available until 30 June 2022
  • Location – Goulburn/Moss Vale
  • Salary starting from $85,744 + superannuation + flex time

About the Role

As a Land Services Officer you will be responsible for delivering frontline services to land managers. You will also work with stakeholder groups both internal and external to LLS as well as managing contractors.  An essential part of this role is the ability to collaborate and work effectively with a team.

 

These roles will be working across multiple projects with LLS including Bushfire Recovery, Rural Landscape Program and Enhancing Koala Habitat.

About You:
We are looking for a person that is enthusiastic, a good communicator and has a keen interest in natural resource management.

 

Experience in project management is ideal and knowledge of the Southern Highlands / Southern Tablelands of NSW landscapes is advantageous.  You must be results focussed and be able to work to tight timeframes.

 

Experience in identifying and assessing risks in the catchment and issues such a hillside gully erosion and stream bed and bank erosion is considered highly desirable.

 

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have a strong working knowledge of environmental and natural resource management issues, a current NSW Drivers Licence and ability and willingness to travel and perform field work in all conditions and terrains is required.
