In this role, you will work closely with the Manager Industrial Relations day to day to provide subject matter expertise and advice, helping our leaders navigate the industrial landscape. You will collaborate with central agencies on projects and initiatives as well as liaising with other subject matters experts internally and externally to drive business outcomes.

To be successful in the role you will need:

  • Knowledge and experience interpreting and implementing legislation, awards and agreements
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial and employee relations, grievance management and union consultation in complex, large organisations
  • relevant qualifications at a tertiary standard and/or extensive equivalent experience in Industrial and Employee Relations.

You will also be someone that enjoys influencing and negotiating along with collaborating to drive outcomes. You will be a professional and passionate ambassador for the broader HR team and enjoy working with peers and team members to upskill and increase team knowledge across the group. The team consists of three professionals and our clients are varied and diverse in their offerings, which means every day brings new challenges. You’ll be someone that is able to think outside the box to create solutions for complex problems and see obstacles as challenges rather than roadblocks.
