What will my day look like?
As our Emergency Management Coordinator, you will be pivotal in the planning and preparation for CWLLS responses to natural disaster and biosecurity emergencies. You will report to the Manager Operations and will form productive relationships with regional stakeholders and provide advice to landholders to implement effective prevention, preparedness, response and recovery actions.

What you need to do this role:

  • Demonstrated experience in emergency response management situations
  • Ability to negotiate with stakeholders and customers
  • Ability to plan and make recommendations with respect to preparedness for, response to, and recovery from, biosecurity and natural disaster emergencies impacting landholders  
  • Previous experience in managing and undertaking a range of projects and associated activities with a view to achieving outcomes
  • Have a current NSW Driver License and the ability and willingness to travel throughout the Central West Region, including overnight stays.
