South East Local Land Services (LLS) are keen to hear from qualified veterinarians interested in working from Goulburn.

As a District Veterinarian with LLS, you’ll be part of a supportive and experienced team of Veterinarians and Biosecurity Officers who undertake field-based prevention, preparedness, diagnosis, and response activities for animal biosecurity and animal welfare.

Why are these the jobs for you?

  • They’re great positions for both experienced vets and new graduates interested in production animals, although large animal experience is desirable

  • Internal support and mentoring is on tap, with collaboration and cooperation across all functional areas encouraged
  • Professional development in any production species is encouraged (e.g. vet public health, epidemiology, or nutrition)
  • You can develop skills in areas such as podcasts, videos, conducting webinars, and running workshops
  • You’ll become a part of a friendly rural community, as well as part of an amazing, experienced, professional & friendly team
  • We offer great working conditions (including flexible work practices)

So, if working as a District Veterinarian with Local Land Services sounds ideal, we’d love to hear from you!

NB: You’ll need to have a degree in Veterinary Science registrable in NSW, are (or can be) registered with the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board, and have a current NSW Driver Licence, plus the capacity and willingness to travel throughout the South East LLS region as required.

The capacity to hold a NSW firearms license or equivalent would be ideal.

Applying is Easy!

We’re keen to hear from both graduate and experienced veterinarians. Please apply via our online portal by submitting your resume and a brief cover letter outlining why being a District Veterinarian with LLS is for you. We will then get back in touch after the closing date.
