The Central West Local Land Services (CWLLS) region extends from the slopes of Grenfell, Wellington and Coonabarabran to the plains of Condobolin, Nyngan and Coonamble. What will my average day look like?

As a District Veterinarian with LLS you will spend your day working as part of an experienced team of veterinarians and Biosecurity Officers who undertake field-based prevention, preparedness, detection and response activities for animal biosecurity and animal welfare. At LLS we believe in working together so teamwork is a must, whilst providing exceptional client services. Check out this video which shows a little about being a District Vet with LLS.

What you need

You will need a degree in Veterinary Science registrable in NSW (or can be), are registered with the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board and have a current NSW Drivers Licence, plus the capacity and willingness to travel through your region as required.

Please note that you’ll be required to undertake a functional health assessment as part of your pre-employment conditions before an offer on employment can be made.
