Armidale is an emerging regional city in the Northern Tablelands Local Land Services  region of NSW. It has a climate of four very distinct seasons and is well serviced with excellent community amenities. There are multiple flights daily to Sydney and Brisbane together with many schooling options in the private and public sector as well as the University of New England at your doorstep. What will my average day look like?
As a District Veterinarian with LLS you will spend your day working as part of an experienced team of veterinarians and Biosecurity Officers who undertake field based prevention, preparedness, detection and response activities for animal biosecurity and animal welfare. At Local Land Services we believe in working together so teamwork is a must whilst providing exceptional client services. What you need

You will need a degree in Veterinary Science registrable in NSW (or can be), are registered with the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board and have a current NSW Driver Licence, plus the capacity and willingness to travel throughout your region as required.

Please note that you’ll be required to undertake a functional health assessment as part of your pre-employment conditions before an offer on employment can be made.
