Summary

We have exciting opportunities for a Digital Platforms Coordinator and a Digital Platforms Specialist to join the Department of Regional NSW, Internal and Ministerial Communications branch of the Office of the Secretary. The Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and developing Power App solutions and providing development and IT expertise to meet customer requirements for rapid service delivery, reliability, and innovation. To Coordinator’s will be responsible for supporting staff in their use of Microsoft products as well as our developed solutions and other records management software.

  • 2 x 12-month temporary roles, Digital Platforms Coordinator & Digital Platforms specialist 
  • Salary from $99,000 + super

What will you be doing: 

Digital Platforms Specialist (Role Description) 

The role of Digital Platforms Specialist will provide technical expertise and capability across the Power Platform specifically in Canvas Power Apps and Power Automate. They will be focused on working to understand business challenges to design and implement solutions. They will be working in a dynamic project environment with concurrent business as usual processes.  

Working as the new Digital Platforms Specialist you will: 

  • Use your technical expertise and capability across Microsoft 365 Power Platform (Automate, Apps: Canvas and Power BI) including Teams, SharePoint. 
  • Engage with other business areas to understand business processes in order to Plan, Design, Build, Test, Deploy and Maintain solutions in Power Apps. 
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation including, analysis, design, build and user guides. 

Digital Platforms Coordinator (Role Description) 

The role of the Digital Platforms Coordinator will provide support, training and project support across a range of digital platforms. They will be focused on working to support users achieve their business needs in a timely manner. They will be working in adynamic project environment with concurrent business as usual processes.  

Working as the new Digital Platforms Coordinator you will: 

  • Use your digital know how to support existing solutions within Power Apps and support and advise DRNSW staff regarding communication platforms including SharePoint, MS Teams and Power BI.  
  • Identify, develop and support the implementation of new processes, features, and digital tools to solve business problems and improve business performance, including testing and the provision of training. 
  • Engage with business owners and stakeholders to research, capture and validate process gaps as opportunities for improvements and automation.
