About Us
The Northern Tablelands Local Land Services region is a distinctive highland area of New South Wales with undulating hills, valleys, plateaus and mountains straddling the top of the Great Dividing Range. With an average elevation exceeding 1000 metres above sea level, the Northern Tablelands has a temperate climate with mild summers and cold winters with frosty mornings and occasional snowfalls. You can check out some of the services that Local Land Services provide here.

The people in the region have a strong connection to their healthy, natural, and productive landscapes and the lifestyles, culture and opportunities they create.

We are looking for switched on office all-rounders to provide professional front line customer service and administration support for the regional team and its customers.

As a Customer Service and Admin Support Officer you will be responsible for a variety of word processing, records management, data entry, office administration and customer service duties and will be required to:

  • Provide a consistent high-quality front-line customer service (including initial advice, information, guidance, escalating and redirecting issues as required),
  • Manage customer information to ensure confidentiality, accuracy and integrity,
  • Provide feedback and information to contribute towards an ongoing improvement in customer and administrative service activities.

You will also be required to provide accounts receivable services including cash receipting, debt management assistance and financial reconciliations in accordance with agency standards and procedures.

You’ll also need to have a current NSW Driver Licence, and the capacity and willingness to travel throughout the region as required.

Our ideal candidates will have strong, professional communication skills, an eye for the details and be someone who’s comfortable both processing accurate data and information as well as speaking to both internal and external customers.

Previous experience in a customer service-related position or an office administration role would be a plus and a strong understanding and a passion for technology would also be a benefit in the role.

So, if you have a genuine passion for working with and for your local community and want to be part of a supportive and team focused environment, then this might just be the job for you!
