Local Land Services (LLS) is an Executive Agency related to the cluster. It provides quality, customer-focused services to landholders and the community across New South Wales. This regionally based organisation brings together a wide range of service and advisory functions including agriculture, biosecurity, natural resource management, land management, biodiversity, emergency services, private native forestry and the Soil Conservation Service.  


About the Role

This role will coordinate and supervise a team of customer service staff to deliver quality customer information services to a wide range of customers and stakeholders within the South East Local Land Services


Key accountabilities of the Customer Service and Admin Coordinator, but not limited to:

  • Provide a range of high-level administrative services such as electronic records management, correspondence, meeting coordination, and procedural / business delivery improvement
  • Implement customer service plans and strategies for community engagement and other key stakeholders
  • Provide advice and analysis on customer service projects and service delivery
  • Monitor, analyse, evaluate, and report on customer service activities
  • Administer the Complaints Management system
  • Assist customer service staff during peak periods
  • Assist the Team Leader as required
  • Assist with activities to prevent, prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies.


About You

Our ideal candidate is a motivated, customer focussed individual who thrives on using their initiative and investigative skills to solve problems regularly and someone that goes above and beyond to deliver great customer service outcomes.


You’ll be busy and need to have experience working in a high-volume professional front facing administration and customer service environment, as well as proven experience supervising a team.


You will have the ability to provide advice to your managers and contribute to the development and implementation of processes, plans, and procedures.


You will be a team player who embraces change and is willing to assist and support other local and regionally dispersed staff as required. Background and knowledge of farming operations and a genuine interest in Local Land Services and its role in the community is highly desirable.


Essential Requirements

  • Current NSW Driver Licence
  • Ability and willingness to travel
