  • Total remuneration from $289,000 pa (including superannuation)

The Corporate people team is responsible for all people related activity across the Department of Regional NSW. As an agency, we're almost 5000 employees strong and a little over a year old. We're seeking an individual that is an inspirational and passionate leader to join us as our Chief People Officer; drive innovation, optimise processes and help us realise our full potential.

About You

You will be a high-performing individual with prior experience in an Executive role. You will have a proven ability to balance the operational, with day-to-day issues management and have a capacity to develop and implement a strategic approach to the people function that aligns with the goals and aspirations of the department.  


You will be a customer-centric individual who is focused on driving a culture of collaboration, creativity and inclusion as well as recognising the importance of building strong relationships across the corporate team and with key stakeholders within the DRNSW.  In this role, you will have overall responsibility for providing high quality strategic HR advice, practices, systems and frameworks as well as ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services in a contemporary and collaborative way. 


You will have proven experience working within a large and complex organisation and be able to successfully lead and guide a team across multiple diverse locations whilst balancing the health and wellbeing of your staff with delivering outcomes for the department.
