About our team

The Department of Regional NSW Regional Development branch are the NSW Government’s eyes and ears on the ground for regional economic development and infrastructure delivery, providing multi-agency coordination, program and grant funding, community planning and coordination. 

 

About the role

The Business Coordinator role provides timely, effective, and high-level administrative, coordination and related support services for the Branch/Group.

 

To be successful in this role you will have a background in

  • Providing support and coordination to senior level management on a broad range of administrative, financial, accounting and HR processes and procedures.
  • Word processing, correspondence tracking, databases, electronic document management systems and financial budgeting systems, spreadsheets, presentation and electronic communication applications including MS Office software.
  • Managing small project tasks to contribute to the development and implementation of streamlined admin and business processes and procedures
  • Coordinate event management for business units
  • Managing Senior members diaries as required to ensure day to day operations are uncomplicated

 

Essential requirements

Administrative and organisational skills with demonstrated capacity to manage several tasks concurrently and to meet deadlines.
