The Strategic Property and Fleet team at the Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW) are looking for a committed and responsive professional to provide support in the review, analysis and reporting of property and fleet data and information and provide project support and customer relationship services across the corporate fleet, property and facilities function of the Department.

With a $20 to $30 million property portfolio, covering approximately 100 properties state-wide, this is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of contemporary property and fleet management services across multiple locations for the Regional NSW Cluster. You will also provide project support and customer relationship management for the Strategic Property & Fleet function within a rapidly growing and geographically dispersed organisation across all of NSW.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

  • Create and develop spreadsheets, reports, dashboards, and other related material to support evaluation that informs decisions relating to Property and Fleet across the Regional NSW Cluster.
  • Collect and prepare data from various sources to ensure efficient and useable data analysis that is appropriate for utilisation by other users to inform decisions across Strategic Property and Fleet and the Regional NSW Cluster.
  • Provide responsive, effective, accurate and timely data and insights to audiences with different levels of data literacy to support evidence-based decision making.
  • Establish and maintain core data sets to meet the analysis and reporting needs of the organisation. Implement proactive initiatives that identify issues with quality and consistency of data collected to reduce potential limitations and ensure the useability of the data for analysis and reporting.
  • Provide project and change management support, by monitoring, tracking and reporting on business initiatives, maintaining project documentation, assisting team members to complete tasks and implement project plans.

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Experience in research, analysis, and process and data mapping activities
  • The ability to utilise various systems and tools to capture data and develop reports in a large multi-faceted organisation
  • Be an excellent communicator who can develop strong and collaborative relationships within and across all levels of an organisation, as well as with external stakeholders and service providers
  • Have excellent problem-solving abilities


You’ll also need a valid NSW Driver's licence and willingness and ability to drive to locations throughout NSW which may include overnight stays.
