About the role

  • Great opportunity to provide leadership in the development and implementation of facility management, property, workplace services and fleet communications, procedures,  analytical reporting and project support.

  • Manage the development and delivery of a range of facilities, workplace and fleet related operational services.


The Business Advisor - Strategic Property & Fleet is responsible for providing business advisory and customer relationship services across the corporate property, facilities, workplace, and fleet function of the Department.


The purpose of this role is to coordinate a range of services for Strategic Property & Fleet and is responsible for customer relationships, property, and fleet project support, communications, and coordination of a range of fleet, workplace services, and facility management services across NSW with an emphasis on providing customer support to the Department’s Southern regions.


About you

As the Business Advisor - Strategic Property & Fleet, you will provide project management support for ad-hoc and ongoing fleet, property, facility management and workplace projects. This will include managing the relationship between key internal stakeholder groups and customers within DRNSW, managing key service provider relationships ensuring services are provided in line with agreements, coordinating onsite facilities, and fleet support to DRNSW for existing and emerging office accommodation.


You will also provide advice and lead the development and implementation of effective and efficient procedures and communication materials with a specific focus on property, facilities and fleet operational activities, facility management maintenance requests and workplace services.


To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Prior experience in facility management and workplace services-related role.  Compliance with pre-employment probity screening is mandatory and a condition of engagement
    • Experience in preparing, editing and formatting information, correspondence, and reports whilst maintaining monitoring and tracking large volume of internal and external requests. 
    • Evidence of the COVID-19 vaccination must be provided upon commencement of employment. This is a condition of engagement should you be successfully appointed to a position within the Department of Regional NSW (which includes Local Land Services and the Soil Conservation Service).
