• Clerk grade 5/6 salary $89,707 to $98,982 + super, leave and flex
• Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. 
• 3 year fixed term fulltime role, 35 hour week 5 days per week.

About MEG

Mining, Exploration and Geoscience (MEG) is a part of Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW) and sets strategic policy for the state’s mineral and energy resources, gathers, analyses and disseminates geoscientific information, and assesses and determines applications for mineral and petroleum titles for exploration activities and extractive uses.

About the role

Assistant Project Officers support the Project Management team with admin and project activities to contribute to the development and delivery of strategic, business improvement and business as usual projects to support MEG’s operational units in delivering MEG’s strategic objectives and core business activities. 

 Your day will consist of but not be limited to

• Providing administration & project support to ensure monitoring & reporting are in line with approved plans.
• Assisting the team with tasks and record management to work towards agreed outcomes.
• Undertake basic research & analysis.
• Communicating with stakeholders.

About you

To be successful in this recruitment you will need:

• Project and administration experience
• To be able to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines while delivering high levels of customer service.
