About our team
Regional Development and Programs ensure representation of regional NSW perspectives in decision making and play a crucial community-facing leadership role to support improved outcomes in economic development and community wellbeing for regional NSW.
Grant Management, Evaluation and Reporting oversees all grant payments, project monitoring, evaluation and corporate reporting for the programs delivered by the broader Regional Programs team. Sophisticated systems in contracting, compliance, evaluation and risk management ensure projects and programs are delivered efficiently to benefit regional communities. Since 2019, the team has delivered more than 900 projects across regional NSW.
About the role
In the role of the Assistant Grants Advisor, you will undertake a range of various grant, administration and financial analysis tasks in accordance with policies, strategies and standards to deliver effective and targeted grants funding.

About you
You will have very strong financial and administration skills with a preference for experience in grants. High level attention to detail, and an ability to work within tight project timelines are key skills. You will have an aptitude for managing data and financial information effectively, including experience in records management systems. You have an ability to coordinate high volumes of work with a focus on quality and timely reports with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
You will have solid communication skills both written and verbal as well as the ability to manage complex information. You will have the ability to work in a busy environment with competing priorities and projects whilst providing quality customer service to a range of stakeholders. Relevant professional experience and knowledge of SmartyGrants or similar grant systems would be preferable.
