Mining, Exploration and Geoscience(MEG) sets strategic policy for the state’s mineral and energy resources, gathers, examines and disseminates geoscientific information, and assesses and regulate applications for mineral and petroleum titles for exploration activities and extractive uses.

What we are looking for?

In your new role as Assessment Officer, Funds and Levies you will provide a range of business, administrative and transaction services to support the unit's program of work and facilitate the delivery of business operations which include the collection of revenue and administration of security deposits.

Our preferred candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated professional who will join our Funds & Levies team.

An understanding of invoicing, security deposits, journals and SAP would be highly advantageous however this is not essential.

 

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • Accounting qualification or relevant working experience.
  • Proven experience in performing day to day administrative and transactional functions
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage and prioritise your own activities to meet schedules
